restorations
Restoration is at the core of what we do. We specialize in preserving the character of vintage vehicles while ensuring they are built to perform. Our goal is to build cars that fire right up the first time. Every project is handled with care, precision, and respect for the car’s original design and history. Every restoration begins with understanding the car’s story and the owner’s vision. We take the time to learn what makes each vehicle special, whether it’s family history, racing heritage, or period-correct details that matter most to you. From there, we create a plan that balances authenticity, drivability, and craftsmanship.
We focus on early American cars built before 1965, with extensive experience in traditional hot rods, stock restorations, and mechanical rebuilds. Our goal is to preserve what makes the car unique while improving reliability and comfort where it makes sense.
Project Planning
Before work begins, we discuss your priorities, timeline, and budget range in detail. This initial consultation helps define the project scope so we can provide an realistic expectations. We also recommend an on site shop visit for your initial consultation. Together we can check out current projects, meet the techs that will be working on your car, and get inspiration for your build. After the consultation, we will follow up with a detailed build proposal. The proposal includes project scope, highlighting areas we will be focusing on, timelines, parts distributors, budget, common questions, etc. Once approved, your car is scheduled for entry into the shop and remains in active progress from that point forward.
Communication and Documentation
You’ll receive regular progress updates with photos and summaries as the project moves through key stages. We believe clear communication is essential and encourage questions and visits throughout the process. We maintain detailed records of each build including photos, notes, and component documentation. This archive not only preserves the car’s story but also provides transparency and traceability for you as the owner or when it’s time to sell. Our billing cycle is bi-weekly (unless on parts hold) and will have extensive details provided directly from the technicians time cards.
Timeline and Budget
Restoration timelines typically range from six months to over a year or more, depending on scope, parts availability, and the level of finish desired. Labor, fabrication complexity, and specialty services are the main factors affecting cost. We’ll outline these details during your initial consultation so there are no surprises along the way. Having parts ready before the vehicle arrives can help streamline the schedule and budget.
